WATER ON THE WEB - Water on the Web (WOW) offers unique opportunities for high school and first year college students to learn basic science through hands-on science activities, in the lab and in the field, and by working with state-of-the-art technologies accessible through a free web site. Teacher and student lesson plans can be found on the site under the headings "Teacher" and "Student". Real water quality data, provided in real-time and archived formats, is obtained through the project's Remote Underwater Sampling Stations (RUSS).

Water USGS - The USGS (U.S. Geological Survey) investigates the occurrence, quantity, quality, distribution, and movement of surface and underground waters and disseminates the data to the public, State and local governments, public and private utilities, and other Federal agencies involved with managing our water resources.
